Arkell Graves serves as the Vice President of BabyBuns For Life Network, bringing both personal and professional experience to his role. Like his wife Dana, Arkell’s life was transformed by the birth of their son Kaleb, who arrived 17 weeks early and spent nearly a year in the NICU. This experience gave Arkell a deep understanding of the emotional and logistical challenges that NICU families face, driving his commitment to support other families going through similar experiences. As Vice President, he plays a crucial role in shaping the organization’s outreach and support programs, ensuring that every family receives the care they need.
Arkell’s background is rooted in service and leadership. He is a graduate of Petersburg High School and pursued Criminal Justice studies at Virginia State University. A proud Army Veteran, Arkell has dedicated over 20 years to serving his country, including a distinguished career at the Bureau of Prisons, where he is a departmental lead. Beyond his professional duties, Arkell is actively involved in his community, volunteering as an assistant football coach at a local high school and participating in the 12th Masonic District. His commitment to service, both in his career and in his community, makes him an invaluable asset to BabyBuns For Life Network.
